Dr. Alexander Heatrice was born and raised in Oklahoma City, OK, and attended the University of Oklahoma, where he discovered his passion for dentistry. He earned his dental degree from Howard University in Washington, DC, before serving seven years in the United States Army, where he developed strong leadership, discipline, and commitment. “The military molded the determination, commitment, and leadership characteristics that I have today. I will admit nothing compares to the camaraderie of service to our great nation.”
Dr. Heatrice holds a Master of Public Health from A.T. Still University and completed advanced training in Oral Facial Pain and Oral Medicine at USC. He went on to complete his Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency at Harlem Hospital Center, affiliated with Columbia University.
Now based in St. Louis, Dr. Heatrice has published research and practices full-scope oral and maxillofacial surgery, including dental implants, trauma, TMJ, orthognathic, and pediatric care. He has extensive experience with complex implant cases, including zygomatic and pterygoid implants, and remains committed to advancing his field while serving the St. Louis community.
